FAQ

Before you buy

Quick answers about choosing, ranging and recording with the Wraith 2 LRF.

01384 LRF or 640 LRF — which should I get?

Get the 640 if image detail comes first: a 640×512 sensor, NETD under 40mK and detection out to 2,730 yards, with a wider 2x base for scanning. Get the 384 if you want more magnification reach for less money: a 3x base and 2,350-yard detection. Both have the same rangefinder, OLED, reticles, recording and battery.

02How far does the built-in rangefinder read?

5 to 1,000 yards, accurate to ±1 yard at close range and ±0.5% beyond 200 yards. The reading shows on the display so you stay on the target.

03What battery does it use?

A single 18650, with up to 4.5 hours of runtime. The scope doesn’t charge the battery while it’s installed. Charge spares in the included USB-C 18650 charger, and use the scope’s USB-C port to run it off external power for longer usage.

04Can I record and send footage to my phone?

Yes. Both models record video and take photos, and onboard Wi-Fi connects to the Sightmark app to stream the view and download footage.

05Is it waterproof?

Both are rated IPX6, sealed against rain and heavy spray, and operate from -4°F to 122°F. They are not rated for submersion.
