What's the difference between Mini Shot M-Spec and A-Spec?
M-Spec models add a steel protective shield, a waterproof rating (IP67 on the M1, IPX7 on the M4) and much longer battery life. A-Spec models are lighter-duty and more affordable, with an aluminum housing and IP55 water resistance. The A-Spec M3 adds auto-brightness.
What is an enclosed emitter red dot?
On an enclosed emitter sight like the Mini Shot M-Spec Solar Enclosed M4, the LED is sealed inside the housing, so rain, mud and debris can't block the dot. It's also nitrogen filled, fogproof and IPX7 waterproof.
How long does a Mini Shot battery last?
It depends on the model and brightness setting. The M-Spec M1 is rated for 300 to 30,000 hours on a CR1632, the A-Spec M3 for 500 to 100,000 hours on a CR2032, and the solar-assisted M4 for up to 105,612 hours in dot-only mode with shake awake.

The M-Spec M1 is IP67 waterproof to 1 m for 1 hour, and the M-Spec Solar Enclosed M4 is IPX7 waterproof to 3 m for 30 minutes. The A-Spec models are IP55 water resistant.
