"Bought this scope to go pig hunting in Texas. I love this scope. Very short lag after the shot . I am able to get back on target quick. My advice is to hunt deer with it just leave the IR light at home. You will learn the scope by using it. I am a novice to pig hunting but deer i am not. I love the external battery connection. I plug a external battery to the scope and tape it on my AR. I save the internal battery if needed. Record is great also."

"First hunt with the nv. Went well, I am using a external battery with a magnetic charging cord so if the cord get pulled out it will not damage the scope. Highly recommend this method, got one on Amazon for 8$. I just taped the battery on to the front rail. The ir light works well, if you want to go out to 200m probably need to up grade. The cr123 battery’s lasted 6 hrs and still have some life apparently, will have to get more though. Can’t say how long the scope lasts on AAA’s. But might try it. I don’t care for it much using at the range, but not what it was intended for. The resolution zoomed in is pixelated, but for the price to be expected. But in 200m you can clearly identify dog, cat, fox, coyote, coon fairly clear. Witch is obviously important. But the scope uses very little of the battery banks charge and could be left on all night with external power. I will continue to update this as time progresses. But so far, for budget NV, can’t beat this tool. Excellent for getting into night hunting, to needing a inexpensive tool to eradicate animals killing you lifestock."
