Not Great Customer Support Option Offered

"Recently purchased the . 223 sight bore (SM39001) from Cabela’s. Opening for first-time use revealed brand new battery in brand new packaging had battery leakage. Picture uploaded to support claim. Is unusable as I don’t want to contaminate product with corrosive battery acid. Contacted customer support. Provided receipt and picture of battery leakage in original packaging. Would have been awesome if Sightmark would simply ship replacement batteries. Customer support solution was for me to ship the package for warranty replacement. Huh? Sightmark wants me to spend ~$5 in return shipping. I can purchase a 20 pack of batteries @ Harbor Freight for just over $5 or I can just return purchased product. Not sure what to say about Sightmark support if they don’t want to simply mail a dollars worth of batteries."

"I purchased this bore sight with the believe that I could bore sight me ar 15. First off I noticed that the laser bulb was off center. When I inserted in the chamber I got a crescent shaped image. This is a total waste of money. What a let down."
