Spotting Scopes

Spotting Scopes Built for Clarity and the Elements

Whether you're glassing wildlife, spotting hits on the range or surveying distant terrain, clarity and durability come first. Sightmark spotting scopes pair sharp, distortion-free optics with rugged, weatherproof construction, from the budget-friendly Solitude kit to the XD-glass Latitude.

01

Distortion-Free Clarity

Fully multi-coated optics are engineered to cut distortion and boost image quality, so your target stays sharp and detailed at any distance. The Latitude line adds dielectric mirror coatings for even better light transmission.

02

Rugged Rubber Armor

A rubber-armored body shrugs off bumps, scrapes and rough handling, so your spotting scope keeps up whether you're trekking through rough terrain or setting up at the bench.

03

IP67 Waterproof, Dustproof and Fogproof

Every Sightmark spotting scope is IP67 waterproof and nitrogen filled, so you can glass through rain, dust and humidity without worrying about the weather getting in the way.

Spotting Scope FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What magnification spotting scope do I need?

For general glassing, wildlife and range use, a 15-45x or 20-60x zoom covers most needs. A larger 80mm objective like the Latitude 20-60x80 XD gathers more light and holds detail at the top of the zoom range, while the compact Solitude 11-33x50 is easy to carry and set up.

What's the difference between the standard and FFP Mil-Radian Latitude spotting scopes?

The FFP Mil-Radian versions add a first focal plane mil-radian reticle, so a spotter can measure and call corrections for a shooter. The reticle stays accurate at any magnification. The standard versions have a clear view with no reticle.

What is XD glass?

The Latitude 20-60x80 XD uses extra-low dispersion glass, which reduces color fringing for a sharper, higher-contrast image, especially at high magnification.

Are Sightmark spotting scopes waterproof?

Yes. Sightmark spotting scopes are IP67 rated, waterproof to 1 meter for 1 hour, and nitrogen filled to stay fogproof. The rubber armor also protects against bumps and scrapes.

Do Sightmark spotting scopes come with a tripod?

The Solitude 11-33x50SE kit includes a tabletop tripod and carry case. The Latitude models include a carrying case and lens covers and have a standard 1/4-inch tripod mount, plus Picatinny accessory rails.
